Modern by Design Showhouse III: Level Two

There always seems to be great design in the Bedrooms of a Showhouse, and the Modern by Design Showhouse was no different. From the top of the stairs, I caught some bold stripes in one of the rooms. Naturally a curious person, I had to check it out first thing. It turned out to be the “Boy’s Room” designed by Warhol Denied and vintage orange floor lamp from Coup D’Etat . The rug is from Pottery Barn ….so put that on your list of “do-able” interior design! I love this French industria

It’s the 3945th day of rain. A church in Medway got struck by lightning. Boston.com today featured an article “How to Build an Ark” . The north forty is doing a passable imitation of Walden Pond. It’s cold and it’s damp. Everything FEELS damp. Magazines and book pages are curling up. We huddle in our home, wearing sweatshirts and heavy socks. We’re NOT turning on the heat, are you INSANE?!?! IT’S JULY!!! However, if we had a wood stove or a fireplace, it would be roaring, baby. O

One singular sensation of a movie! Last night I went to the Landmark Harvard Exit movie theatre in Capitol Hill to see EVERY LITTLE STEP, the documentary about casting the revival of A CHORUS LINE.
